Commercial Description:
North Bridge Extreme is the brewers gift to Anders on the 1 year aniversary for the opening of Nørrebro Bryghus. It is inspired from the South-West Californian triple IPA's. It is brewed on English ale-malt, adjusted with different colormalt and spiced with enourmous amounts of hops. A dark golden extremely bitter ale with a distinct hop aroma.

Hand bottled thanks to Sk8viking. Lots of lovely hops aromas. Nice copper color with a decent head considering that it survived the trip overseas in a handbottled container. Flavor really came out as balanced with an awesome hop finish. Very good bear that I would never had had the chance to try if it were not for all the great people on this great site. Thanks Rene...

This was shared by fordest who recieved it in a trade from Denmark. We drank it on superbowl Sunday. What a treat. The hops lasted through the swallow and much longer. I enjoyed this beer and I hope to try some more Double IPA’s from denmark to see if they can compete with this one.

Draught at the brewpub. Reddish brown with beautiful off-white creamy head. Hops, fruits and a lot of spices in the overwhelming aroma. Grapefruit and lots of hops in the flavor. The hoppy finish just lingers on for ages. Extreme beer - i like it.

100ml enjoyed at the Bryghus in Copenhagen early on a Saturday afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere talking to Skinnyviking. Deep dark amber in colour over a thin white head. Rich fruity and floral fragrance. Comprehensive taste with an explosion of hops and spicies that linger into a very nice bitter ending. Full bodied and well-crafted. Heavy stuff - I’ll be back for more on my next visit to Copenhagenྭ.01.2007).

Dark golden-amber. Bright. Earthy, sticky nose accented by bright fruity (apricot, plum) and a hint of wood. Traces of alcohol also emerge. Intense bitterness, lots of piney, woody hop. Slightly sticky, but not so much that it detracts from the overall presentation of the brew. Alcohol cuts through a long, resiny bitter finish. Big brew, but with a sense of style and balance. Pretty good.

Draught. White low but lasting head. Spicy vineous aroma plus caramel. Flavor like aroma. Heavily carbinated and dominated by alcohol. Too dominated.

Handbottled at Nørrebro Bryghus. Big thanks to Sk8viking. Skål René. Color was golden reddish with a clear sparkling look to it. Head was light fluffy off-white and was mostly diminishing. Aroma was quit complex and defiantly the best D-IPA so fare. Pine, grapefruit, flower, grass. But also notes of fruit and spices can be detected. Extreme dry and hoppy mouthful, excellent crisp feel. Full bodied with an average carbonation. Flavor is heavy bitter, with balanced sweetness from the fruit notes. Finish is crisp, dry and long lasting. Best D-IPA so fare and yes, quit extreme for a Danish beer! Nicely done.
