Commercial Description:
North Bridge Extreme is the brewers gift to Anders on the 1 year aniversary for the opening of Nørrebro Bryghus. It is inspired from the South-West Californian triple IPA's. It is brewed on English ale-malt, adjusted with different colormalt and spiced with enourmous amounts of hops. A dark golden extremely bitter ale with a distinct hop aroma.

This must be the best danish beer ever. Copper color, medium sweet caramel and hoppy aroma, heavy bitter taste, full body, extreme long dry bitter finish.

500 ml. Clear ruby-copper with a sticky and enduring 1/2-inch foam. Frosting everywhere. All kinds of sweet-earthy spiced aromas: molasses, vanilla, whiskey, oak, cinnamon, toffee butter. Tastes of caramel, orange, tea leaf, brown sugar, oak, pepper, whiskey, cocoa, toasted walnut, cherry, apple, butter, coffee, vanilla, white pepper, oak, thyme... the list could go on. Damne costly but damne goode! En Skaal Anders!

Dark reddish IPA with a quick diminishing head. This beer is extremely well balanced. Could, however, take a litte more hops. But it is a great, great beer. Welvety mouthfeeling and looong hoppy bitter palate, which stays in your mouth for hours. Finally Denmark has made a serious beer for serious beer consumers!!

Hand-bottled at the brewery by the incomparable sk8viking! Arrived in Wisconsin in perfect condition. Pour was a beautiful clear deep ruby with copper highlights. This was even able to produce a medium almost-whipped creamy off-white head after about 12 days out of the tap! Aroma was exquisite, with powerful grapefruit, sweet caramel-type malts, and an excellent spice bouquet. First impression on the palate was surprisingly creamy and smooth. Alas, the expected hoppy bitterness was not far behind. That picked up toward the middle with grapefruit and assorted spices, and carried through to the exceptionally long-lasting finish. Very solid sweet malt backbone and perfectly carbonated. This was true brewing excellence, and an almost perfect example of a U.S. brewer-dominated style. This is worth a trip to Copenhagen.

Amazing aroma of grapefruit, lemon, and tangerines. Flavor is more of the same, the hops just shred my palate. What an outstanding beer! i loved every second of it. A hop bomb!

courtesy of Papsoe; unlabelled bottle; bottled in Feb. 2006 - hazy reddish in colour, little unstable foam with big bubbles; generous hoppiness showing notes of biscuit, portwine, almonds and candi sugar; solid malty, oily body; massive bitterness and a very dry, bitter hoppy finish with notes of pine needles and peach - an extreme yet somehow balanced hop bomb; what a beer !!

WOW! Dark amber, with a medium offwhite head. Extremely hoppy aroma, with a load of malt underneath. Very bitter, yet well balanced. You can taste it for hours after drinking it. Very fullfilling! It has an allmost "homebrewed" character. I hope NB will make this one again, it is one of the best beers I have had so far.

Beautiful dark amber coloured with a creamy head. Very hoppy aroma. Loads of flowers and fruits in there with malty notes underneath. Very hoppy and bitter flavour. Very complex and full bodied. Long lasting bitter aftertaste. Finally a great extreme Danish brew.
