Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and caramel. Flavor is sweet malt, bitter hops, fruity and caramel. An almost straight forward but well made and balanced brown ale.

Coffee, roasted malts and some chocolate and dried fruits in the flavor, and a good bitterness in the finish. Medium to full body, dry and smooth. An easy drinkable and tasteful brown ale. 100507

7th May 2010. Copenhagen Beer Festival. Clear brown beer. Crisp palate, a little dry. A tiny bit of smoky malt. Just a whisper of hops coming through in the finish. Nicely crisp for a brown ale.

From tap@Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Low brown-shaded blond head. Body is clear, dark reddish amber. Discreet, nutty malt aroma. Fruit notes and a touch of spices. Taste is light peppery, softly roasted malts, and a certain berry fruitiness with a sourish twist. A fine bitterness is there to balance. Medium to light body. Soft in the mouth. Nutty malt finish with a discreet hop bitterness. A well-made and moreish brown ale.
