COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A powerful and full-bodied spring herald at 7.5% ABV. Brewed according to the original bock tradition, which used to be the point of origin for Danish easter brews. Bottom fermented, copper golden, with a discreet aroma of dark malts and hops. The flavor is round and sweet with notes of caramel and raisins. Average bitterness and aftertaste.

Bottle 330 from Purvis. Great malty beer. Aromas of caramel, biscuit, cereal, and chocolate. Taste is sweet, with long length. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Dark brown, with a frothy head.

Dark amber color with a nice foamy top. Aroma and flavour are both to my liking, maybe some hints of fruit.

A really good beer. Has tastebuds all over the place. Maybe a "bit" to sweet to get the highest score.

Pours dark brown with a large quickly fading head. Nose is very rich with loads of melanoidins, golden syrup, caramel, prunes and figs. Lovely, very expressive. Flavours are similarly rich, pretty full-on even. Almost exactly the same as the aroma, but very sweet. Gets a bit too much. Carbonation is a little too high for these flavours, although, at least it helps cut through the sweetness a little.

Mørk mild øl. Den er tør, smagen bliver på spidsen af tungen.... Det er en god rund og behagelig smag... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Very zippy, nice head. Starts like a good drk bock, strong-malty, modest sweet. Complex in the middle - notes of coffee. Finish a bit old and smoky. Really interesting! Thanks to HenrikSoegaard for the beer!

Non è il mio genere, e mi sembra tutt’altro che una birra estiva, però questa è tra le migliori doppelbock mai bevute senza dubbio!
