Nothing inherently wrong with this beer but also quite boring. Not Much of an Irish ale fan, and while the beer has plenty of mats, I just didn’t much care for it.

TedE (900) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 2, 2015
400ml bottle into shaker. Smells of malt and phenol out of the bottle, less so out of the glass. Deep copper/caramel sauce colour. A few bubbles make an appearance. Thin head. Watery mouthfeel, crisp malt finish. Slight touch of hop bitterness and liquorice late on. Nice enough and very easy drinking.

tbonde (289) - DENMARK - NOV 22, 2015
40 cl. bottle@home with the missus in pilsner glass@approx. 7 degrees C. Pours almost clear red-amber with medium off white head with sufficient retention. Aroma of roasted malt and caramel malt - thankfully not too sweet. Taste well balanced with the roasted malt to the foreground and with a pleasant hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium carbonation and medium body. Went well with chicken salad with leeks - not sure it would be interesting enough to drink on its own with the same pleasure.
