On tap. Pours an opaque black with a creamy light brown head leaving a neat lacework. Hard roasted malt in the nose and some vanilla. Quite full-bodied, hard roasted malt, vanilla and some ashes. I don’t detect much smoke though, perhaps a vague - very vague - peaty touch. Some malt bitterness and ashes in the finish. 050810
