COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

OleR (4801) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 6, 2009
From tap@Københavnske Øldage 2009. Jet black with a tiny chocolate head quickly fading to a ring of foam. Intense coffee, chocolate and hard roasted malt aroma. Full malt body, heavily roasted, sweet and sugary with loads of coffee and chocolate. A distinct, sharpish bitterness beneath. Alcohol is noticeable. Big body. Warming finish with a rough bitterness. Potent stuff.

yngwie (13399) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 26, 2009
On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. A black beer topped by a small, tan head. Woody, boozy nose with coffee, roasted malts, some vanilla and chocolate, and some alcohol. Dark chocolate, alcohol, vanilla, brown liquor, wood notes, roasted malts and coffee in the flavor. Full-bodied and too warm on the palate. Long, sweet finish with chocolate, coffee and some vanilla. A lovely beer in many ways, but it’s too intense on the alcohol. (090515)
