Commercial Description:
An authentic Porter at 6% ABV. The name refers to this being the second Nordic guest brew, that is developed together with Lasse Ericsson from Nynäshamn Ångbryggeri, south of Stockholm. The beer is top fermented and added honey before the fermentation, which results in a soft and creamy coffee black porter with a soft aroma of chocolate, coffee, and nuts. The flavor is dry, light, and elegant with notes of liquorice and dried fruits. The bitterness is low and the harmonious aftertaste is dominated by liquorice.

Thanks to Akevitt. Light brown body with light chocolate coffee nose. Very rich for a porter. A little watery on the body with some salt and similar flavors as in the nose.

(bottle, thanks olso2116) Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is quite complex with some sweet honey, roasted malt, chocolate, and also some tart cherry as well. The taste is an initial hint of sweetness, then some tart cherry and chocolate, followed by a nice lingering roasted malt finish.

[Bottle] Pours black with a dark tan head. Aroma is sweet--honey, roasted malt. Nice. The malt is quite evident in the taste up front along with what almost seems like faint cherries, then the honey and roast burst through. The finish is incredibly long. Medium mouthfeel. This is really nice, a little underrated imo.

A thin, brown colored porter. Aroma has honey, light spices that I can’t identify, and malt. Flavor is a little sweet and combines honey with malt, for a pleasant and tasty, if unremarkable beer. I would like this to be heavier on the palate.

Shared by Akevitt. Dark brown color with a thin head. Aroma of oak, vanilla and salted meats. The taste is very intriguing. It starts with a little wintergreen/spearmint, the slides into a bitter roasted malt. Sweet malt and honey finish the job. Highly underrated porter!

Pours a super dark roast black, with a tan head. Deep banana, sweet malt, and toffee, but faint. Nice balanced mouthfeel with a nice toffee and floral hops on the finish. Very nice, and defiantely the average is appropriate.

Bottled. Aroma is roasted with coffee malts and bread. B;ack coloured with a thin, beige head. Taste is bitter with roast, coffee and some toffee sweetness. After reading the commercial description I would redifine the toffee sweetness as honey. Bit sparkling on the tongue.
