Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown beer. The aroma has both sweet and acidic notes copmbined with roasted malt and lighter notes of stored and lightly dried black currant. The flavor is sweet with notes of black currant - somewhat stored, and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted black currant finish.

Draught at NB. Black - brown head. Coffee, medium hoppy, burned malts, sour berries, blackcurrant, light sweetness, fruity, light body, light milkey, light lactic. Nice.

Tap @ the brewpub.
Pours deep redish black with a small, creamy, beige film head. Aroma is roasted at first, then chocolate, then lts of tart black currants. Highish carbonation, light and elegant mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, lightly roasted, lots of dry, zesty tartness and a then a good, long roasted malts bitterness. Good, and actually surprisingly well balanced.

Draught, thanks Shaun. Black colour with a medium beige head. Good lacing. Sweet aroma of black currant berries, chocolate and roasted malt. Pleasant filling mouthfeel. The flavour has plenty of black current berries with roasty malt, chocolate, good sweetness, pleasant soft bitterness and a mild tart touch towards the roasty black currant choclatey finish. Yum indeed!
