Draught. Deep red with a short head. Aroma of fruity cherries and bit maltiness. Flavour is quite sweet with cherries and medium maltiness.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2009 (On tap) This is 5,2% ABV. Red like cherry juice, even the small head is pink. Lambic?? My ass. Rumour has it, that this was some bottom-fermented beer that got infected and the brewer tried to "save" it by adding berry juice. Money rules - you shouldn’t try to fool your customers. 110404

ToolHead (266) - København, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2004
Draught at Nørrebro Bryghus; served in sample glass. Clear ruby color; pink head. Nice, fresh aroma with good berry presence; the taste is impressively fresh with a strong cherry presence; gradually, the sweetness begins to dominate and overwhelms the fruity freshness; slightly sugary mouthfeel.

Beautiful ruby color; pink head, Cherry aroma and wood. Good body, sweet and fruity, a bit astringent at the end (kernels).

(on tap only)There is some beers that needs a special mood. When I drank this one, I whished In was at the cinema; eating candy. Lambics ARE sweet beers, but this, beautyfull colored deeeeep ruby-red, don´t have that extra zing of acid. It has a nose of cherry(and some carton too). Dosen´t hit the front mouth at all, but just twinkels very sweet and disapears; leaving my lips and teeth quite stiky.

First Danish wannabe lambic -fruit. It is still obvious this is a lager, and therefore the fruit does'nt suit very well in this. Not acidic enough, too artificial.

Deep red color with a nice pink head. The taste is lager with cherry sauce and way too sweet imho.

Dixen (1465) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - JAN 21, 2004
UPDATED: MAY 17, 2004 Draught at the brewpub. Beautiful red body and a nice cherry aroma. Well, but when it comes into your mouth it tastes like lager with awful cherry wine from the local discount store. Way too sweet, way too artificial taste... Would rather drink a glass of water from the Sortedams Lake...

UPDATED: APR 10, 2004 Draught at Nørrebro Bryghus (only place available). Light tan head, nice dark deep cherry color. Aroma is somewhat artificial of cherries and malt (extract?). Sweet cherry flavor with some malt and a sour/dry finish. A nice and refreshing fruit beer that I will drink again!!

MartinKubert (862) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 18, 2004
Nice clear color. High white/light rosa head. Very artificial aroma of cherries. Very sweet. Strong syrup flavor. Tastes like christmas cherry-sauce. Lacks the sour freshness from kriek. The finish is filthy and turns bitter/metallic in the end. Some malty notes in the aftertaste. Not very impressive. Couldn't finish the glass.
