Copenhagen beer festival. Clear gold beer. Good white head. Dry sweet beer, full of flavour but a little perfumed. A little banana. Sweet impression overall.

Draught@Københavnske Øldage 2009. Hazy deep golden body. Head is a filmy layer of foam. Pleasant aroma of butter roasted nuts with a whiff of alcohol soaked fruits and yeast. Taste is rather sweet, fresh yeasty, mildly spiced, and has a fruitiness that reminds my of tin canned fruits. Juicy mouthfeel. Healthy body. Warming, fruity and spicy finish.

On tap at Københavnske Øldage. Fruity aroma, fruity flavour. Some pepper, canned fruit coctail. Not quite there.

Tap at Norrebro bryghus. Cloudy orange/copper with a small white head and lacings. Nose is yeast, fruits, berries and chewing gum. Warmth and sweetness from alcohol. A bit muddy/messy combined but taste is allright.

Dark yellow colored with cloudy appearance, little yellow head. Wheaty aroma with some banana notes, spices and lemon also present. Medium bodied. Flavor is also rich with fruity banana tone and spices, aftertaste turns to hoppy one with mild alcohol. Fine tripel.

(on tap) Amber, no head. Powerfull caramel, some butterscotch. The carbonation is nice, but far from powerfull enough to even out the alcohol and the sugars. Had the beer been more complex in aroma and finish, I could see the idea, but there´s little of both and I left the beer with the reminder of a owerpowered weizenbock, no esters here to give it a spark. Short, warm finish of alcohol. Must have had it on its downside, compared to the ratings here, but then it should have been removed.

Medium offwhite head of unevenly sized bubbles. Deep amber body. Syrupy fruity alcoholic aroma with yeasty bready notes as well as roasted almonds. Intense toffeeish fruity spicy taste with orangey alcohol notes. In fact, a bit like an orange liqueur. Sweet, but not cloying. Slightly oily mouthfeel, with considerable alcohol heat and sharpness. Dry peppery bready fruity aftertaste. Powerful, and a bit neutral. Could have had more depth. Could also have hidden the alcohol better. Still nice. (0.25l draft at Nørrebro Bryghus.)

On tap at Nørrebro Bryghus. Brown/amber color, lovely creamy off-white head. Aroma is fruity with yeast and spices. Flavor is fruity, spicy, sweet and has some alcohol - maybe too much alcohol.

Dark golden with a big white head. Bubblegum, melon, citrus in a yeasty aroma. Sweet with some malt and a hint of smoke flavour. There is a little alcohol, and it’s a bit too sweet for the style, and for my taste.
