3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: OCT 16, 2008 Ruby brown with no head. Aroma is amazingly fresh sour-cherries with little hints of oak and malt. Dry and sour with a tart cherry flavour. A very unique cherry experience with none of the usual almond/marzipan notes.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at the Brewpub on the Birthday party of the establishment 11-09-08. Pours murky reddy/brown and initially tasted like a softer version of the earlier beer of theirs that I tried until I started to get some unripe cherries. Some oak, and quite tart fruitiness, it was quite nice.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the birthday party. Reddish brown, not much head. Cherry rocks aroma, almond, cinnamon. Slightly sour and buttery. Flavor is sour cherry, syrupy malts, juicy sour finish, much simpler than the aroma.

Draught at Norrebro, Copenhagen. Sourmash, a lot of yeast bready notes. Lovely aroma, some yeast, some malt, some sourish fruit. Some great cherry in it. I really liked it. Very different, nice spicey cherry.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught (EBF2008) - thanks MiP!
Aroma spiked with sourness, and tons of cherries. Again, there’s a big cherry bent to a sharp vinegary taste. Christmas spices too, clove in particular. Rots my teeth.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2008 Draught Deep red-brown, little head. Speculoos , and a lot of fruit, as a speculoos cake, filled with cherries. Speculoos again in the taste, very obviously sour cherries and some sweet malts (again the speculoos/herbs carrying). Lipsmacking sour; acid-thinned body. After the Beetje Boom I thought Nørrebro had gone barmy. They haven’t, Tak Stevn, whomever you are.
