Danish: En kompleks kirsebærale. Øllet har en smukt rød kulør og er lagret i to år på franske egefade med vildgæren brettanomyces, hvilket bidrager til en syrlig og vinøs base. Den tørre smag er præget af eg, vanille, marcipan og kirsebær. En særdeles udfordrende og delikat oplevelse med stor fylde, syrlighed og lang, vinøs eftersmag. Pinot Noir-fadlagret.

English: Stevns CCC Vintage 2009 is a sour mash beer, fermented with concentrated Stevns cherries and aged with Brettanomyces in a solera system, using primarily Pinot Noir barrels, started in 2007 with the original Stevns CCC brew made with Will Meyers from the Cambridge Brewing Co. This vintage of the beer was blended from three different barrels and has an aroma dominated by cherries, smooth brett, dark malts and oak. The very dry and crisp flavour has distinct acidity with fruity and winey notes. The aftertaste is long and complex, with all the flavour elements interchanging, ending on a discreet marzipan and bitter almond note.

Bottle… This beer rocks!… Murky brown ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Excellent retention. The nose presents big cherries, vanilla, caramel, almonds and moderate funk. Medium to full-bodied and milky with tickling carbonation. Big time standouts in the flavor are caramel and sour cherries. Finishes tart and lightly dry. Kudos to Plovmand for shipping this world class beer to my front door!

Pours hazy brown, thin tan head; spotty to poor lacing. Nose is tight cherries, very pretty cherry-blossom ice cream notes. Flavours of funky cherries, brett, sour malt. Really pretty for a sour brown.

Bottle courtesy of hopscotch. Crazy rare beer with a crazy cherry nose, full sour with a decent malt backbone. NIce body but its reminscent of Kuhennen Olde Brune but not quite as good of a malt backbone. A great beer with a terrific cherry presence,

Bottle @ Seabass going away party, Jan15th ’11. Courtesy of Fogdog. Couleur cuivre, mousse est fine et blanc- cassé. Très bonne bière de type ’sour’ on y ressent bien la cerise et le tonneau ainsi que des notes de chêne. Aigreur se dégage des cerises et on peu aussi y noter les traces de pinot noir. Pas mal pour le style qui reste raisonnable dans le niveau d’aigreur, le tout donne amplement de place à la cerise pour faire de cette bière une bonne réussite. Reste demi-sec au palais avec qcq notes d’épices, sûrement du venant du tonneau.

Brown and unclear. Mudy. Off-white head, medium duration. Acidic aroma, yeasty, very faint cherries. Wood. Flavor is light sweet, astringent, acid and bitter. Texture is dry, watery, astringent. Lively carbonation.

Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - DEC 20, 2010
330ml, bottled in January 2010 and best by January 2015. A vigorous pour yields a dark and slightly hazy brownish-burgundy body with a small cap of khaki foam. Quickly fading away to just a thin center patch with a slight edge, the head leaves behind fleeting, wet suds after each sip, but alas, no hard lacing. The aroma showcases tart dark cherries, complete with tannic skins, over a lactic base of mildly sweet brown malt. Brettanomyces adds its signature funk and dryness, as the oaky Pinot barrel imparts further tannins, hints of vanilla, and some mild dark spicing. Traces of leather and some acetic Balsamic also emerge, rounding out the sharp nose. Flavors largely follow suit, again very lactic and acetic. Sour cherries are softened a bit by the residual brown sugar malts and subtle suggestions of toasted cereal grains. Sharp skins, musty brett, and lactose combine for a "cheese and wild grapes" sort of profile. Spiced oak really shows on the finish. The palate is softly carbonated and moderate in body, showing an acute, puckering tartness that leads into a lengthy, semi-dry end note. Good overall. They’re clearly trying for a slightly higher-gravity Russian River Supplication here, and it is quite a valiant effort. Though it does not reach the level of mastery that Supplication does, it’s a fine sour that I’d gladly take more of.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale brown color with a small off-white head. Has a sour tart cherry aroma with woody hints. Sweetish fruity sour tart cherry flavor. Has a sour fubky cherry finish.

Hazy red brown colour with a thin pinkish beige head. Smells (in the best way) like a freshly painted girls bedroom. That’s my best effort at a description honestly. There’s emulsion, perfume, nail polish, vanilla and a truck load of sweet and tarty cherry stuff. Sick as fuck but I love it. It’s almost giving me the horn with the teenage memories this is bringing forth. Third beer of the evening folks, I’m not drunk I promise. Once in the mouth it becomes just far too naughty to even to describe. I think this has more cherries than anything else I’ve ever tasted, beer or otherwise. It’s just insane. Fully two years after swallowing this is still making my mouth water with it’s epic tartiness. She’s quite the sultry peach I can tell you. I really am loving this. Every sip.
