Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, burnt caramel, caramelized malt, moderate yeasty, spicy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy, dark malt, caramelized malt - sugar, burnt caramel, light roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Draught at Nørrebro Bryghus. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, dark fruit and licorice.

On tap. Opaque dark brown with a vague orange hue and a beige head. The nose is rich in sweet, dark dried fruits - overripe and pruney combined with dark sugars. Quite full-bodied, sweet licorice and again prune juice with some burned caramel. Very subdued bitterness. Close to the perfect Xmas beer. 211112

Chopp. Red-brownish colour, small but nice beige creamy head, good lacing. Sweet dark fruity spiced caramel malty aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is spiced with dark malts and dark fruit along with spice (anise) and bit chocolate.

Pours lovely deep brown with a nice, staying, creamy, beige head. Sweet toasted caramel aroma with some plums, chocolate, light raisin, walnuts. Medium, prickly carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has good chocolate, some cocoa notes, plums, raisins. A hint of freshly ground coffee on top of sweet malts. Light hazelnuts. A very good stap at a dubbel.

Draft. A brown beer with a red shine under a lazing brown head. The aroma has strong notes of bread and malt combined with medium notes of caramel. The falvor is sweet with ntoes o fmalt, caramel, and bread, as well as hints of spices.
