Danish: Årets nye julebryg, en julehyggelig belgisk klosterdubbel på 6,5 %, farven er dyb brun med et tæt hvidt skum, mens smag og duft er umiskendeligt belgiske med tørret frugt, nødder og mælkechokolade imassevis. Sød og intens og lidt til overflod. Sådan er julen, sådan er Stjernestund. Ændret til 5.7% i 2013 og kaldet Klosterøl, bemærk at der findesen Stjernestund Porter på brygpubben som er forskellig fra denneøl.

Pours lovely deep brown with a nice, staying, creamy, beige head. Sweet toasted caramel aroma with some plums, chocolate, light raisin, walnuts. Medium, prickly carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has good chocolate, some cocoa notes, plums, raisins. A hint of freshly ground coffee on top of sweet malts. Light hazelnuts. A very good stap at a dubbel.

340 ml bottle at home. Brown bordering to black with beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, plums raisins, dates, dark sugar, light alcohol and bready malts. Taste is bready, lots of dried fruits, some yeast esters, plums, light apples. Nice and uncomplicated

Big beige head. Clear dark brown body with light carbonation. Dense nutty spicy aroma with dried fruit notes. Sweet earthy fruity taste with strawberry chewing gum notes. Fullish body. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Sweet earthy dried fruit and spice aftertaste with herbal licorice notes. Nice, but a bit sweet and dense. (0.33l bottle, from ... I forget.)

Draught at Nørrebro Bryghus. Dark amber colour with a thin, off-white head. Fruity aroma with bread, caramel malts, ripe fruits, spicy and vineous notes. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with sweet fruits, caramel and bread. Pleasent Dubbel.

Appearance: Unclear amber color with a fine thick tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Bready, fruity and some spicy notes.
Palate: Medium (+) body. Slightly sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Vinous, bready, fruity, toffee, plums, raisins and a some spicy notes.
Overall impression: Lovely balanced and tasty ale! Not to sweet.

The aroma is full of of dried fruits, nuts and dairy chocolate. The color is deep brown, almost chocolate-like. The taste is full of chocolate, dried fruits and coffee. The finish doesn’t exist. A decent beer.

Bottle@x mas lunch. Small head dark brown. Roasted. Dried prunes. Caramel as well. More dry than sweet. Nice c mas brew. Fresh.
