3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
40cl bottle@home in stright glass@approx 6 degrees C. Pours very cloudy orange with nice white head with OK retention. Massive amounts of yeast in bottle treated as Witbier bottles should - stirring the last bit to ensure the depot is also poured. Aroma of yeast and citrus. Taste of orange, coriander, a little bublegum, hop and a lot - too much for my taste - yeast, which also gathers at the bottom of the glass, causing me to discard the last bit. Pleasant enough taste, but somewhat heavy, it lacks the elegant lightness of the best Wits.
