On tap at Ølfestival 2012. An almost clear one, dark golden in color and with a small, white head on top. The aroma is lightly buttery and quite fruity. Some diacetyl in the flavor too, with caramel, a smoked hint and fruityness. Medium body, very creamy on the palate. Too creamy I think. Some bitterness and fruityness in the end. Not my cup of tea this one. 120512

Bottled at Copenhagen Ølfestival 2012. Copper color. Sweetish with earthy, phenolic and tarry smoke . Toffeish malt backbone and some farmhouse notes too. I’m not a fan of peat smoked malt and this shows it again.

Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, butterscotch, floral and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long sweet, light smoked finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Copenhagen Beer Festival, May 2012. hazy amber with a small white head. Malty aroma with diacetyl, and some smoke and leather notes. Sweet malty flavour with a hint of medicinal peat smoke.

Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2012, TAP1. Pours a hazy and copper beer with a white head. The aroma is malt, caramel, toffee and notes of butter. The flavor follows the nose with additional notes of smoke. The palate is dry with sweetness. Overall an average beer.

Pours amber with a beige head. Aroma is toffee, butter and light smoke. Flavour is caramel, toffee, light smoke and fruity notes.

DØE BeerFest 2012. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak smoky toffee aroma. Fruity malty smoky caramel flavor with weak hints of dark fruit. Has a fruity malty smoky finish.

CBF 2012: Not much smoke. Amber coloured and clear. Has an off-white head, fully diminishing. Malty-sweet aroma. Sweet flavor, faint notes of smoke. Light acid.
