3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20

33 cl bottle @ home, bottled 01/2010, BBE 01/2020
Rather strong aroma is sour and tart, feels like brettanomyces stuff. Flavour is oaky, tart and sour with earthy notes, grapefruit and hints of spices. Also some fruits. White wine on acids.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottle, 0.33 l - bottled in January 2010, from Systembolaget, 20111202) The beer poured deep golden and a little bit hazy. Its head was almost non-existent. Aroma had wood, sourness, honey and vineousness. Palate was medium bodied, warming and dry with low carbonation. Flavours were honey, wood, tartness, vanilla, vineousness, malts and low bitterness. Aftertaste was vineous and woody. A different tripel indeed but not a bad one. Wine characteristics, saison-style sourness and the sweetness from tripel matched quite well.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at norrebro. the beer is very very unique. It has a the back bone of a triple, but imagine a triple with a finish with brett in the back end, it was a very nice brew. Really glad I tried. I would imagine that this beer with taste strong of brett with more age. There was enough in there that it could really take over

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
0.33l bottle. Never tried a desert wine barreld beer before, so I suspect this could be interesting (and sweet). It pours a heavy clouded almost murky-orange-ish body with a thin sidesticking just off-white head. The aroma quickly fills the room with a sweet and blue-cheeze aroma(and lots of it!). Also some notes of wood, apples, blue grapes, pears, toffee, some yeast perhaps, more of that blue cheese and actually something I best can describe as compost. Strange, but quite nice. Oh, this was some really different flavors! Soft to average carbonation and quite full-bodied. It’s kinda bretty with something woody and sweet in it. Quite sour flavor at first - something I did not expect at all - and it’s oaky, vinious and sweet. Ends light pepperish with more cheese and some light burning alcohol in the heart warming finish. I guess in many way this actually can remind me a bit of a desert or even a white wine. Must admit that it took me a while to finish this quite complex and different beer.
