Draught @ KØ 2006: Black/brown coloured. Dense light brown head. Loads of sweetness and vanilla in this beer. Totally dominating the aroma. Flavour as well is very vanilladense. Some roast, coffee and perfume. Is medium bodied. Has a medium bitterness in the end, which is chalenged by some vanillasweetness. Fun beer.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Grovlam (4137) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2007

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ungstrup (26267) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 4, 2006
An almost opaque deep red beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is very sweet and very spicy with notes of vanilla, violets, and coffee standing out. The flavor is extremely sweet with a somewhat weird combination with the vanilla, but also with notes of coffee and cocoa, lending the end a bit of roastyness. It is too sweet for my liking and I’d also like a roasted character earlier.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 joergen (17353) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 17, 2006
Draught at the brewpub.
Black coloured with a beige head.
Sweet aroma of caramel and vanilla with notes of spices.
Sweet flavour of caramel, vanilla and spices with light roasted notes.
Light roasted finish.
Could be a good vanilla sauce, but too sweet to be a good stout.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Maria (9569) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2007
Københavnske Øldage 07. Draught. It’s black/brown with a reddish hue and a small, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffee and a slightly perfumed vanilla sweetness. The flavour is smooth and nice with notes of roasted malt, a slightly perfumed vanilla sweetness and notes of coffee. In one way quite interessting, but at the same time a bit weird. 2219
