bottle, thanks to bu11zeye, orange color with good foam, sour cherry, funky aroma, flavors of sour strawberries, clover, fruity, lemon, lasting fruity finish, excellent

Bottle sample thanks to my friend Christian- Quite hazy on the pour, the colour of rusty gold. Has a thick eggshell rocky cap. Nose is fresh hops, quite full of citrus(lemon), anise, a bit funky, wet basement. Tastes of fresh anise infused hoppiness, sweet fruity malts, a bit citric, with a tart funky twang. Quite a long finish with marked bitterness. Good

Hazy golden with a thick foamy head showing good retention. Aroma is malty, funky and fruity with horse blanket and some hops. Flavor is dry malt, tart, horse blanket, fruity esters and hops. Medium to full body. I am surprised with this one, complex and pretty orval-esque.

Bottle: Poured a lightly hazy golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light fruity ester and tart notes if quite interesting. Taste is also dominated by some refreshing tart notes with medium Belgian dry malt and some light fruity ester. Body is quite full with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well done with a more complex profile then I would have expected.

Bottle. Unfortunately the higher ratings appear to be for draft samples. Pour fast! Not a gusher but a quick foam out of the bottle. Moderate head on dark amber. Funk scent but a lot of sourness as well. Flavour is Saison mixed with sour ale. Add some fruit and you could really merge some styles. Tart sour lemon pepper.

Rolland & Russel private order. A gusher, lost a third of the bottle. Lightly brown colour,big white head, and the carbonation was still there. Farmyard first then a mild mollases and honey aroma.The taste s unusual spice, oregeno, cinammon, maple, balsam, pepper. A light fruity berry grape. Medium mouthfeel.

Appearance: Gusher brew , hazed cloudy amber with extreme pour. Frisky crown. 3-/5
Nose: candi brown sugar frontal with farmyard citric funk, horse blanket on rose plain sprinkled with raspberry sugar. 6+
Flavor/Palate : mid bodied. Buzzy with alcohol soften by funky yeasty character. Mellow middle. Interesting yet mildly koo-koo if you get my drift. Angerfirst-yes of beer. Finishing salty leather.

CBF2009: Amber and hazy. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting, creamy. Aroma of acid, fruit, vanilla, corinander. Moderate acidic flavor. Dry watery texture. Lively carbonation, a bit astringent.

cloudy amber, smooth off white head. aroma:sligthly bretty, faint berryish fruty. mild but quite nice. slightly sourish flavor dominates, some mild spicy sweet background to this. Given that the bottle spilled over a bit when opening (not very common for NB brews) and that the beer seems to foam up bigtime in my mouth, it might be slightly infected. As saison often is a bit sour i would not say that i can sense any unintended infection in the flavor. The foaming up in mouth is really annoying and makes it directly difficult to drink it, hence 1 in palate. Palate is oily and it foams up in my mouth. like drinking water with lots of soap in it.

Bottle. Hazy deep golden with a longlasting white. Bit acidic balsamico aroma with lots of spices and caramel. Flavour is sweet spicy and vinegar like with a long spicy finish. Very nice.
