English: Vår Tripel 2010 is a Belgian inspired Tripel of 9.7% Abv. It appears light in color with a strong white head. The aroma is quite spicy with a solid fruity background where the added lemon grass and lemon zest dominate. The taste is dry, warm and slightly bitter with a touch of citrus fruit and black pepper.

600 mL bottle. (Looks like bb April 2014, but it’s kinda scratched off). Translucent straw-orange with a nice white head which reduces, but never disappears. Aroma has wheat, lemon, and yeast. Flavour is mild citrus - more lime than lemon - and light spice, along with wheat and a touch of booze. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. Body is decent. Not bad. Lemon is a nice touch.

Hazy orangey golden colour with small to average size head. Mild Belgian yeast, lots of orange, caramel and floral notes in aroma. Orange, sweet sugar, some yeast and mild bitterness. Quite enjoyable and fruity Tripel.

Hazy straw coloured pour, minimal head. Lemongrass, Honey, Wheat and assorted grains in the aroma. A fair bit going on when I taste this one - Yeasty with lemongrass, honey, slight eucalyptis, slight hint of pepper, fruity and bitter. Low carbonation. Interesting, but not exactly what I look for in a Tripel.

Another nice find from the LCBO, comes in a brown 60cl bottle. Written 9% ABV on the back of the bottle. Pours a golden colour with lots of sediments floating around. Nice white cap with great retention and lacing. Aromas of alcohol and grain with notes of fruits and spices. Beautiful warming feeling with flavours of grass and straw, with notes of citrus. Good decent hop balancing between the bitterness and dryness. Not a bad Tripel, just a tad expensive compared to their other brews we got here.

600ml Bottle (at 9%ABV per the bottle): Aroma of yeast, lemongrass, and grain. Poured yellow/gold in color with a tiny white head that disappeared except for as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of medium and large-sized particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, yeast, light lemongrass, light pepper, and slight grain. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, malt, yeast, light pepper finish is slightly dry. 9%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

Sammy (8552) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 9, 2011
A herbal experience. Thick yeast, with pronounced lemon flavours of myrtle, lemongrass and lemon oil. However it is akin to a lemon matte tea. Outside of lemon, not that much fruitiness. Pleasant for the first glass, this bottle is best shared as my drinkability is limited. Not for everyone.
