COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: 428 bottles of 37,5 cl made.

English: a sour Belgian style brown ale. The base beer was a Belgian Brune, brewed in September 2008 by the Master Brewer Class of 2008/09 at the Scandinavian School of Brewing. The finished beer was then allowed to age for 10 months in a Spanish Tempranillo barrel with multiple strains of Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus, resulting in a pleasantly sour, extremely complex, smooth beer with significant oaky, winey and barnyard flavours. Malt and caramel notes on the palate and a clean, crisp and fruity finish.

Tart and funky notes on nose. Fruity notes - apple, apricot, peachy notes. White desert winey notes in there a bit. Murky brown orange amber no head or legs. Woody, tart(medium) funky notes, fruity white winey flavors - soft light fruits. Soft slowly fizzy carbonation.

375ml capped, thanks Tom! Murky grayish caramel brown with tight kahki head. Tart strawberry and lemon with some light woody notes and a touch of band aid. Tart and slightly dry with lively carb...not overly complex.

Yet another beer that the jolly generous Madmitch76 (Ken) brought along to Pre ZBF on March 5th 2010, once again cheers for this Ken. Pours a bit cloudy brown. Aroma is quite oaky, I love the Tempranillo grape, I doubt for on minute that I would have identified the cask from any other cask but that said I like it. Nice sour and oaky aromas mingle, vanilla also. Tastes is tangy, sour and the aforementioned flavours also combine in the mouth. Good stuff. A7 A3 F8 P4 Ov15 3.7

Thanks to hopdog for sharing this one. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a smaller bubbly head. Aroma was this great tart cherry, sweet, light funk and other berries. Great cherry notes. Flavor of fresh yet some ripes cherries, vanilla, light funk and wheat. Josh swore this was a grape bomb but he was totally wrong.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Red-amber colour. Light malty and light hoppy aroma. Not that sour but very fresh. Light bitter not very pleasent flavor. Plumb notes. Average finish. Oily palate. Not my favorite.
