Ole_R (1304), Oslo, Norway Apr 29, 2008 Bottle. Dense and snowy white, mostly lasting head. Crystal clear, pale golden colored. Aroma of sweet breakfast cereals with notes of lemonade and mild, earthy hops. Taste is fairly dry malts, a mild but edgy hopbitterness and some fruity tones underneath. Body is light plus. Light sourish mouthfeel. Mediocre.
begbie100 (126), Oulu, Finland Oct 4, 2008 500ml bottle. White head, diminishes fast. Golden color. Aromas of sweetish malts, metal and some hops. Crispy palate. Flavor: Pretty good hops for lager, some bitterness and little bit malts. Expected worse. Svesse (1818), Hässelby, Sweden Oct 1, 2008 (Canned) Golden yellow colour with brief, frothy, white head. Malty, bready nose with sweetish notes of tropical fruit and slightly sourish malt hints. Malty, bready taste with hints of honey, grain and grassy hops in the finish. Distinct malt sweetness with a puff of alcohol (which feels quite right). Medium body, moderate bitterness, a tad too sweet. A solid, but boring export lager. SaintMatty (519), Tallinn, Estonia Sep 21, 2008 330ml Can - Golden in colour with a white head. Malty aroma with a slight bubblegum sweetness to it. Slightly watery at first with a moderate bitterness. The taste is malty with some light honey hints. MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Sep 10, 2008 Can, 5.3%. Rough hop aroma. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. Weak bready flavour, OK alcohol level gives it a decent mouthfeel. FatPhil (2367), Espoo, Finland Aug 17, 2008 440ml can - shared by MiP - thanks!
Non-descript, to no aroma. Some sweet malt I guess. Sweet esetery taste, some swimming bath hint from the hop/ester combo. Thin finish. Quite crisp and refreshing for a macro. Soft palate. Worst aspect is that the hops are a bit metallic, but just a bit.
