Growler(?)...O-Town Throwdown... Murky golden ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Terrific retention. Acidic, fuzzy fruit nose with notes of lemon, apple, sugar cookie and yeast. Sweet, tangy (almost tart) flavor with light, aged-hop bitterness. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Lightly sweet, toffee, black cherry finish. Degarth provided this beer... thanks, man!
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 hopdog (7652) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 5, 2007
750ml bottle shared courtesy of Jasonmech77. Poured a medium and cloudy amberish brown color with small sized off white head. Aromas of yeast, lightly fruity, leather, wood and musty. Tastes of yeast, sour cherries, funky and toasted malts. Had a light tart and sour finish. Different and interesting (I kinda of liked it).

Dark amber color between brown and orange. SMells of oranges, peaches and apricots, has some lambic-like chemical aromas. Very mild flavors... dull on the tongue, unexciting but decent. A mild fruity and bready presentation.

Sampled at the O-Town throwdown. Poured out a hazy brown with a thin white head. The aroma is musty, funky, soured and tart. For the flavor I get some sweet malts hitting up front and that is quickly over run by moldy cheese sourness and hints of lemon. This beer doesn’t taste as tart as it smells.

Jimmack tasting 06. Sorry- I forgot who brought this, but I know Walt gave it to someone. Pours a cloudy light brown/deep copper, with good head and retention. Aroma is yeasty, phenolic, lgith cloves, slight medicinal, plasticy, with a slight solvent character. Yeasty flavor, slgihtly dirty, citrus, earthy and spciy with a lightly bitter finish. A litte astringent in the end though but ok overall.

Poured a hazy brown color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of leather, oak, red cherries, toffee, pedio, with some toastiness as well. Taste of the same, cherry, some cedar, light sourness, some vinegar, and a bit more pediococcus. Dry finish.
