3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Crushed at GABF ’10. I’m usually a fan of brett, but this one is a little bit overboard. There’s definitely funk, some leathery notes, and some grass, but also a strong rubbery presence that is off-putting.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub.
The beer pours a hazy golden yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of brett, leather funk and a little bit of grass. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of cherry and leather notes as well as a little bit of brett funk. There is also a decent amount of sourness mixed in to the flavor. Very dry and very easy to drink. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. One of the best North By Northwest beers I have drank. Definitely one to seek out.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Gives the appearance ofpeach nectar in the glass. Stays thick andcloudy with difficult to see bubbles. Sour aroma with a hint of bitterness and citrus. Sour flavor that is also very bitter and therefore quite delicious. Consistency is like milk. Flavor starts with a good bite but not too harsh so it’s still enjoyable. Bitter-sour taste lingers.
