4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 TomDecapolis (4231) - Lawrence, Kansas, USA - JUL 13, 2006Thanks to Walt. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a small off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of orange, pine, caramel and some sweet malts and vanilla. Flavors of the same with a light bitterness.

Big citrus, spicy green aromas from top of a thick, frothy, lasting white head. Fairly dark in color. Cleans up very nicely. Some bitterness on the backend but the malt wipes it away quickly. Very nice!

Dark amber brown color. Frothy dirty white head. Citrus hop aroma. Bursting. Very hoppy delicious. One of the easiest beers to enjoy this brewery has ever made. Here’s no denying the flavor. It even laces the glass well.

I just had one of these out at NXNW earlier today. Also grabbed a few bottles. May have to go and add more details to my review once I pop a bottle and can really get in depth.
Anyways, I totally loved it. Lots of hop character, but it wasn’t a hop bomb. Very citrusy/fruity. I totally dug it. I’m probably gonna trade some of these bottles, which means I’m just gonna have to grab some more ^_^.
Highly Recommend.

This beer really stood out to me at our recent tasting so I’ll enter it as 1900. Bottle, pours hazy orange with a medium light tan to white head. Aroma is huge citrus and pine hops. Flavor is silky smooth and rich toast and light caramel with huge pine and grapefruit hop character both sweet and bitter. One of the finest IPA’s I’ve had in a while.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Mora2000 (4118) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUL 21, 2010
The beer pours an orangish-amber color with a tan head. The beer is clear but there is a lot of yeast sediment at the bottom of the bottle. The aroma is very fruity. I get notes of orange, grapefruit and apricot, with the apricot standing out the most. The flavor is semi-bitter citrus with a nice caramel malt backbone. I get some orange and apricot in the flavor plus the addition of pine. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. I think this faded a little bit from when I had it on tap, but it was still very good.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 mmmbeer (1160) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAR 17, 2010
Pint glass at the joint- one finger white foamy head formed and lasted several minutes, very nice lace as it was consumed, turbid light orange in appearance. Aroma of pine and grapefruit by the bushelbasket worth. Hits the mouth with low-medium body, malt was there but could be more heavier, very light caramel in the start, middle has a hearty hop wave come in, finish is lingering and acidic. Nicely done IPA, and it’s local to boot!

Semi-cloudy orange IPA with a fine bubbly white head. Aroma of west coast hops, flavor of spicy, piney hops... A great IPA, thin but spicy and hefty enough to satisfy my hop craving. Great finish, great beer!

Very fruity and hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured and extremely hoppy with a crisp and bitter slightly dry finish.

Bottle. A nice gold/amber color with a big fluffy white head that sits around for a while. I notice there’s a whole ton of yeast at the bottom of the bottle... Haven’t made it that deep yet, though. Strong citrus hop aroma, along with what seems to be homebrew twang - a little grassy and plastic-like. Flavor begins with citrus but is quickly dominated by the same plastic/grass twang as in the aroma. A small but nice bitterness hangs on at the end. As I continue drinking, the twang becomes less evident and the malt starts to show through a bit more. Still, though, it’s only mediocre.
