3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - SEP 14, 2012
Bottle:   Orangish straw, very hazy, large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Figured it would be fairly clear... hmmm...   Sweet straw/hay on the nose.   Minor grass, smidgen of hops, and some powder sugary citrus sweetness.   Sweet straw/hay on the tongue, subtle hops, not too biting, decent body, clean.   Becomes a little dry as it warms.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Not too crisp, but nice flavors.   Thanks Bill!

On tap at the brewpub during North by Northwest’s 2011 Oktoberfest party.
The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is classic German pilsener. I get a lot of bread and biscuit malt with some grass from the hops. The flavor is a mix of malt and grain, with some grass and a low to medium amount of bitterness. The beer is very easy to drink and one you could have multiples of. Thin to medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice pilsener.

Clear golden, 1/2 inch white head. Lots of carbonation. Crisp malty aroma. Great American beer taste, bitter, earthy, smooth, malty and a little sweet. Quiet finish. Quick bite.

(Draught) clear golden with a film of white bubbles. Nose of raw grain, light fruit, earth, cracker and butter. Taste of earth, mild pine bitterness, cracker and buttery. A classic pilsner. Soft carbonation and a buttery linger.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 mmmbeer (1154) - Austin, Texas, USA - SEP 19, 2010
Several draught glass @ the joint- served a transparent yellow/gold color, 4mm white head did lace upon the glass. Aroma of hops and wheat. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is subdued but still very enjoyable, middle has a very pleasant bitterness from the hops, finish is very crisp, dry, and begs for another sip. This is the first documented beer that my wife upon having a snort of mine then proceded to have more of these than I did over the course of the evening(5 v. 2)- she doesn’t like beer by the way...

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 lb4lb (2044) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 24, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a bright white medium sized head. Smell is sweet honey soaked ceral grains and some noticeable grassy hops. Taste is cereal like sweet honey malt that reminds me of honey smacks cereal, but with a grassy bitter crispness in the finish. Medium body and carbonation. Sweet up front and slightly bitter in the back. Decent pilsner, but I preferred their other pilsner to this as it was a bit dryer and even hoppier. Still enjoyable.

G.A.B.F. 2008: Pale yellow pour with fading white. The aroma is sweet with lots of corn. The flavor is similar with a lot of sweet corn notes, grainy/cereal hints and little hops to speak of. Eh.
