COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the style of the great ales of the Pacific Northwest, this complex combination of Pilsner and Caravienne malts and Apollo, Simcoe, Cascade and Amarillo hops make it a great session beer.

Hand bottled from bman1113vr. Deep golden with a frothy white head. Strong hoppy nose with pine and grass notes. Strong grassy hop flavors (reminds me of the GLBC Burning River) with a bready malt backbone. Great hop burps. As it warms a peach/apricot fruitiness starts to show.

On tap at the brewpub; was a little skeptical based on its claim of being in the style of Northwest. However, it did not disappoint. Poured an orange color; didn’t make notes of the head. Aroma was citrus and fruity; flavor was similar with only a moderate bitter bite at the end. However, the hop flavor was spot on; good for the style.

tap at brewpub pours bright orange hue with a small sudsy white head. nose is herbal, citric, lightly bready, cracker and some nice earthy tones. flavors are very bright citrus but very lite bitterness. body is crisp and easy to drink-very sessionable. could be pretty low abv around 5%. long herbal and slightly bitter finish of grapefruits. decent pale ale here!

Tap at Brewery. Good aroma of sweet citrus and floral aroma also. Orange body color with decent head. Good cirus orange flavor medium bodied beer with a mild bitter on the finish. Good brew while the bartender was packing up couple of bottles and growler for me.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2008 Pours light golden, with very little head. Aroma is a nice piney hop flavor with maybe some cedar too. I really liked the fresh, woodsy smell of this one. Taste was of some mild hop bitterness, and a good balanced malt behind it. Overall a slightly sweet pale ale that is very drinkable. I liked it a lot and ordered a pint after having it in the sampler. My favorite of the NXNW beers so far.

Holy crap...this one totally didn’t suck!!! Poured hazy golden orange with a thin white head...smell is piney with a small dose of grapefruit...nice malt hop balance...where’s the corn? Definately enjoyable...not amazing or outstanding, but good...

Palest orange ever. Only the slightest hint of hops. Mostly some woody elements.

An absolute disgrace. This is a catastrophe of cookie malts meeting semi-bright English hops at a sub-interesting threshhold. Barely finishable. I'm pissed off.
