ansermadide (161), Kyle, Texas, USA Jul 21, 2008 (Sample from February 23, 2007 Beer Club Meeting; on tap at NXNW in Austin on July 20, 2008) Semi-cloudy pale gold. Hard to target in on the aroma. Taste is just bitter/pale enough to raise the eyebrow but leaves no aftertaste. Thin, sweet… delicious. AmEricanbrew (827), Left Coast, Louisiana, USA Jul 13, 2008 Clear pale amber with a thin sheen. Nice berry fruit, honey aroma with piney hops. Smooth medium body. Good pale malt, honey sweet bread flavors with a mild piney hop bitterness to finish. easy drinking. Draft@ the brewpub 7/10/2008 slimchill (604), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 2, 2008 Draught. Aromas of light pine, peach, and light caramel. Clear amber-brown with a small head. Good bitterness but severely lacking in hop flavor or any malt background. Harsh and unbalanced. A boring pale ale. alexanderj (1197), Roanoke, Virginia, USA Jun 30, 2008 On tap at the brewpub; was a little skeptical based on its claim of being in the style of Northwest. However, it did not disappoint. Poured an orange color; didn’t make notes of the head. Aroma was citrus and fruity; flavor was similar with only a moderate bitter bite at the end. However, the hop flavor was spot on; good for the style. Bockyhorsey (1920), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jun 26, 2008 Tap at Brewery. Good aroma of sweet citrus and floral aroma also. Orange body color with decent head. Good cirus orange flavor medium bodied beer with a mild bitter on the finish. Good brew while the bartender was packing up couple of bottles and growler for me.
