pint_size (1004), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 28, 2007 Actually has some flavor, however still a bit watery. It seems to be missing something on the palate. lb4lb (1463), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 28, 2007 Was the special rotating beer served in the 6 beer sampler yesterday-
Almost no smell at first, but then a slight sweet hop smell, came in. Taste is light to mild hop bitterness, and was a bit watery, like pretty much all of the 6 beers in the sampler. Kind of like a watered down Anchor Steam. Was friendly, decent, and easy to drink, although not anything too special at all. PorterPounder (2853), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Feb 3, 2005 Seasonal offering at the brewpub in Austin. Pours a translucent orange with a decent sticky, clumpy white, creamy head. Slightly piney aroma, with some doughy, yeasty notes as well. Crisp, tangy flavor with some sprucey and caramel notes with a slight back end of fresh fruit. Smooth, clean finish. Very good representation of an unusual style for a brewpub.
