Commercial Description:
Anniversary XVI has a distinctly Belgian character having been fermented with an antique Belgian yeast strain. The beer is fermented of wort brewed from Pilsen malts with additions of California apple juice and Belgian candi sugar. This technique produces an extremely pale beer with a rich champagne-like quality in both the flavor and the mouth feel.

Thanks to Dr. Bill for sharing at a gathering he held at his house. It poured a yellow color with a foamy white head. The flavor had a lot of apple juice-like notes in it.

Very effervescent apple and honey nose with a touch of vanilla and citrus. Mildly astringent mouthfeel with a huge level of carbonation. Acidic and lingering tart finish.
