COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In anticipation of long nights of celebration with the many friends we’ve made over the last 25 years, the brewers of North Coast have created a Belgian inspired session beer designed to promote a festive mood while minimizing the consequences of overindulgence. Brewed with pale malts and fermented with the same yeast strain used to make Le Merle, our Twenty-fifth Anniversary Ale is sharp and spritzy with a delicious flowery, spicy dry-hop aroma.

Clear golden under a thin foamy lacy head. Light aroma of hay and a little peach and melon. Flavor is surprisingly full for the small abv, with nice amounts of Belgian barn malt, a bit of pilsner malts, and a little grassy bitterness to balance only. Smooth and bright and balanced. Just a little one dimensional.

On tap at Parry's. Poured a light, hazy gold with a thin white head. Smells like a typically great belgian white ale. Kind of lemony and wheat. Very drinkable. I sometimes forget how good a lighter beer can be! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Baileys. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. a light crisp malty nose. The flavor is light tartness, fluffy, light fruit, a bit of caramel and toasted malts, bready and light herbal hops. Decent.

On tap at Dutch’s. Mostly clear golden yellow color. Thin white head, with good retention. Leaves pretty nice lace. Nice lemon, bread, saison-like esters in the nose. Good bready malt base, satisfying light grassy, floral hop flavor. Lightly tart taste, light to moderate bitter, light sweet, good zestiness. Lighter body. Super smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of crisp, very easy-drinking. Lightly slick texture, not overly dry. This is a very tasty, easy-drinking unique type of session ale (and a unique type of a belgian ale). Would be an awesome one to have cans of.
