Malted wheat and the choicest American barley are combined with a blend of noble hops to create this light, fruity, refreshing beer. Brewed in the style of the American beer renaissance, Blue Star is unfiltered, the yeast adding a complex note to the flavor profile. It’s especially good with a slice of lemon!

Hazy yellow-golden with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity with hints of wheat and citrus. Flavor is like aroma with more citrus notes. Medium to high carbonated and medium bodied with a dry citrus finish.

335ml bottle. Slightly hazed pour. SMells liek your typical american lager, grainy husk and a tiny bit of hops. Flavor is nice, it has some honeylike sweetness, wheat, noble hops. highly carbed mouthfeel. Summer slugger for sure but not really that worthwhile.

average frothy white head. good lacing. fully diminishing. cloudy thick light yellow body. aroma: moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, banana, bubble gum. if: moderate sweet light bitter. ff: light sweet moderate bitter; average duration. palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, metallic finish. Aroma e sabor trazem presença artificial de quik de morango. Amargor estranho, lembra retrogosto de água tônica. Mais uma wheat ale que não agradou. Refrescante, mas não apresenta nenhum diferencial, bem restrita.15 s

Rating #1013 - March 3, 2014 - #mondaynightbeers at Beer Revolution. Hazy reddish amber pour, Aroma has a hint of wheat, and a herbal whif, mixed with a strong grainy note. Taste is pretty much the same, a dominance with hints of wheat character built in (wheat, citrus, etc.) Finish is dry and crisp. Nice wheaty - but not comparable to the big dog heffys.

Nice crisp texture. Slightly fruity taste that is very heavy on the wheat. A solid example of this style and a good beer with lunch.

Pours a cloudy golden color. Smooth and easy to drink but the taste drops away almost immediately.

Cerveja de trigo em que sobressai o aroma e o sabor lupulado. Ha um que levemente doce e licorado, mas que nao consegui definir exatamente. Talvez seja o citrico da Blanche de Bruxelles.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good for the style; a slightly cloudy golden orange with white head that steadily dissipates into thin lacing. Smells of dough and mild hops. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. A decent example of the style.
