maltdog (414), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 11, 2008 Surprisingly dark for an American wheat… urine gold and murky with roused bottle yeast. The thin dishwater head leaves no lace. Mild aromas of bread, caramel, and sour fruit. Diacetyl and tonic water flavors. Dry, neutral finish with no aftertaste, but a tingling aftereffect on the tongue. Watery mouthfeel, slightly greasy. The “appropriate-to-style” blandness has been taken to an extreme… I could see adding a lime wedge to introduce some character.
dwaggs2 (93), Warrensburg, Missouri, USA Sep 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. Aroma is wheat, orange and citrus. Taste is citrus and wheat. This is a clean crisp beer. Decent beer mar (582), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 28, 2008 pale gold pour with a thin white head. oranges and spices on the nose. smooth on the palate with a light coriander flavor that’s clean and refreshing. smashteroid (148), USA Aug 20, 2008 served cold from 12 oz. bottle. yellow/gold in color. hazy. aroma of citrus and yeast. flavor is kind of pedestrian. a drinkable wheat beer, but by no means a quality one. Tripplebrew (254), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours a hazy muddled yellow gold with white head that dissipates to a thin layer. Aroma is wheat and not too much to say about it. Flavor is wheat, light watery earthiness with very mild hops. Body is fairly light with medium carbonation. Definitely nothing remarkable about this beer. Better than bud light but that’s about it. Butters (311), Richmond, Virginia, USA Aug 6, 2008 Pours a semi-hazy straw with fading offwhite head. Aroma of sweet citrus and some horseblanket. Flavor has a weak hop bitterness. Medium thin body with high carbonation. Not that great.
