3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a 12oz brown bottle into a shaker at Plush with dinner. Absolutely love the name and artwork. It poured a cloudy deep brown color with creamy, long-lasting beige foam, nice spritzy little bubbles and lace. Very pretty and aromatic. True-to-style Belgian Dubbel aromas and flavors, very toffee-like, smooth, some alcoholic warmth. Tasty, authentic, better than some.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep, dark red-brown pour with off-white head that quickly disappears. Aroma of sweet fruits and malt, translate well into the flavor with some alcohol, and as some have mentioned - a bit of red wine, especially on the finish which is dry. Tasty stuff.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a rich mahogany with a finger of head. Nose is figs, raisin, Belgian yeast, a bit red winey. Taste is very dark fruity, tons of fig, raisins, bit of spicy yeast character on the finish, effervescent. Medium to full body. It's borderline too sweet, but treads the line. Very good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
small frothy offwhite head. fair lacing. fully diminishing. flat thick dark amberish-brown body. aroma: heavy malty, wood, raisin and alcohol. if: heavy sweet light bitter. ff: moderate sweet light bitter; long duration. palate: light medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, moderate alcoholic finish.
