3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Light and sweet in the nose, with a touch of funk. Hazy honey color. Mildly fruity and funky, with some light bittering / ends mostly bitter Thin-medium body. Okay. A bit weak on all fronts. Doesn’t match up to most good saisons.

Pours golden hazy with low white head. Aroma of honey, citrus, wheat, light spice, light yeast. Taste is sweet with light citrus bitterness about midway through before a honey sweet finish. Body is light and slick with average carbonation.

bottle. Lemony, dusty nose, dry fruits. Orange-gold color. Sweet, biscuity flavor, nicely hopped but too sweet. Good bitter at the finish but too sweet over all.

I think this is my favourite saison... it’s pretty big- lots of fruity esters leap out of the glass. the palate is dry and slightly firm but still giving some generous belgian yeast tastiness.. good stuff

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice smell. It has some wine as well as funky hay and some fermented field fruit. Pours cloudy orange without much head or lacing. A sweet tangy aftertaste with soft carbonation. Nice beer - big thanks to Chris for this bottle.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml pour..fairly medium.darkish orange color similar to a dipa..fluffy head that dissipates..nicely carbonated as expected..nose is spice laden with traces of pepper..lemon..some fruit perhaps apricot..papaya.mouthfeel hits initially with the 1st punch of Belgian yeast characteristics.which is slightly sweet but evaporates into a dry finish..this seems to lack that extra something of intensity but shortly after does leave a pleasant lingering finish with a small reminder of the almost 8 percent..intriguing saison that seems to have qualities of a bpa and also a wheat beer..quite easy to drink and an enjoyable offering in this sweltering summer 13..

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Interesting beer. Pours a nice golden color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is a zesty spice with hints of fruit coming through. Notes of breadiness. Carbonation not as strong on the taste as it was on the pour and in the glass. Taste follows the nose, but nothing that really sticks out. Hardly any bitterness. Finish is very clean. No trace of the 7.9% alcohol. Good beer, just not overly impressive.
