Translucent golden with a thick head and lively carbonation. Aroma of hay, floral. Taste of grass and berries. A bit yeasty. Has a strange tartness that lingers for awhile.

Solid cloudy apricot colored pour with half inch of white head. Strong scent of saison yeast and lemon, sour watermelon, apples, and some barnyard funk. Lively carbonation, thinner mouthfeel, clean finish with a sour taste. Flavor of belgian yeast predominantly, lots of bitter pepper, a bit chemical-y, citrus and floral hops, clove and cardamom as well. Kind of bitter/astringent overall but nice robust saison.

Pours a semi clear light golden color with a big soapy white head that settles to a ring and good lacing. Aroma is classic Belgian yeast with juicy fruit flavors, some grain and mild spice. Taste is similar with the juicy fruit and some biscuit malt backbone. Mild clove spiciness comes through with a fine thread of barnyard funk. Slight bit of grassy bitterness. Finishes mostly dry. Mouthfeel and body are medium and feel a little heavy for the style, with medium /high carbonation. Good and drinkable despite being sort of average.

Bright gold color with small white head and little lacing. Aroma has strong citrus, coriander, and grass- smells like springtime! Flavor is light, crisp, earthy, with slight hops, and faint citrus notes. Herbal, tart, with a dry finish. Very good- expensive 4pk at $14, but still cheaper than most 750s of saisons I suppose.

375 ml bottle from Wilbur’s thanks to Matt. Appearance: 3 fingers white head that doesn’t last too long, straw yellow, slightly cloudy, Aroma: fruity white wine, earthey yeast, leaves, light molasses. Palate: light body, lively carbonation, dry finish, thin texture, light alcohol warming. Taste: wheat and fruit sweetness with light tartness, ending with light bitterness. Overall, very nice beer, like the balance and the crispness. Very solid farmhouse.

Pale yellow pour with a thick white lasting head. Barny aroma, waiting on that head. Slight sour funkiness, grassy, maybe a bit of honey in the distance. Head in the way. A few minutes later this really opens up. Burnt sugar and caramel, can’t find the tropical fruit but a nice funky-hard sweet taste. Much better as the bottle emptied. Would I drink again? Yes. Would I order again? yes.
