A rustic ale, pale in color, inspired by the rich brewing traditions of the Flanders region. Abundant hops and a Belgian yeast strain contribute exotic aromas af tropical fruit.

Editor’s Note: previously known as Whole Foods Silver Jubilee.

Very delicious saison with accent on hoppy grapefruity push, but always keeping balance with decent caramel malty background, bit wheat. Some yeastiness.Moderate sweet with moderate bitterness, quite dry finish. Refreshing and highly enjoyable

Excellent lightly fruity nose, great citrus notes in the taste. Excellent balance of sweet and just a tiny touch of sour. Great beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle (12 oz). Bought at Craft Beer Cellar Waterbury.

Appearance: Clear golden/orange with a medium diminishing white head and little to no lacing.

Aroma: Quite fruity with Belgian yeast, light spiciness/peppery notes and herbal hops.

Taste: Fruity. Light sweetness. Light peppery notes, yeast, decent malt backbone, light bubblegum presence and herbal notes.

Palate: Medium body. Moderate carbonation. A tad oily mouthfeel. Light alcohol warming in the finish. Mild lingering spiciness.

Overall: Pretty good and true to style Saison. Good fruitiness and balance. Easy to drink. Well executed.

Pulling from memory: nicely rounded farmhouse ale without too much of any one note...maybe a touch heavy on the citrus soda, but that’s a good thing to me. Not too much hay, funk, or cheese flavor, just enough to give it a wildesque ale taste. Refreshing. Not a pounder, but you could easily put down several in a session.

Very slightly hazy golden color with a creamy meringe like white head. Aroma is yeasty citricness/ sour mineral with some spicy phenols. Flavor is sweet spicyness with just a balancing touch of lemony sourness. Gentle spicy/ sours aftertaste. Medium palate, tasty and refreshing. Solid medium strenght saison.

Bottle. Pours golden with rimming white head. Grassy, lemony notes in the nose. Bready, grassy notes, dirty spices and herbal finish. Dry and awesome....

Thick head. Champagne like bubbles. Starts off a tad sour but ends like fine Belgian. Not my favorite but a decent beer.

It poured a hazy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of a typical saison with Belgian yeast and some citrus orange peel. The taste was citrusy saison with Belgian yeast. Very nice.

12 oz bottle from BOTW, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear deep golden with a decent white head. Aroma: Lots of fruity esters and spicy phenolics, honey, flowers, a bit of booze, rich light malts, quite sweet and unctuous. Palate: Medium+ body with full, creamy carbonation. Flav.: Herbal, more phenolic than estery, though it is still somewhat fruity, rich malts, floral honey, nice; sweet with low-moderate bitterness and an estery, boozy, malty finish.

Pretty good.

12 oz bottle. Clear pale, orange-ish pour with white head, moderate retention, spotty lacing. Aroma: oranges, marshmallow, banana, laffy taffy, green apple. Taste: somewhat sweet, fruity, short crisp peppery finish. Palate: medium+ body, lively carbonation, creamy texture. Overall: pretty nice for an 8% ABV 12oz-bottled saison. A little sweeter and bubble-gummy fruitier than my favorite saisons, but nothing really objectionable about it.
