Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 5, 2006 An unclear orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with quite a lot of hops, as well as a good fruit presence. The flavor is very fruity with notes of mango, oranges, peaches, on a sweet background that also includes notes of caramel. The end is dry and bitter with a slight dusty touch. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 28, 2007 Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Cloudy golden, firm head. Aroma of orange and coriander. Sweet, yeasty and fruity. Medium-full bodied with dense, lightly spritzy mouthfeel. Citric and minerally. Yeasty bitter finish. Full flavoured, but just a bit edgy. Papsoe (10459), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 10, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy pale golden with a thick, white head with good retention. Aroma of yeast and banana. Rather light body - I never would’ve guessed this to be 7.3% ABV. Fruity and fresh with notes of yeast. Some sulphur in the finish. A decent wheat beer, that’s what it is. 300406 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Dec 7, 2007 Hazy beige. Dusty character. Hint of burnt match in the nose. Spicy-peppery notes, and fennel. Malts are crackerlike and slightly baguettey. Some lemony aromatic accents. Still a "saison" whose only farmhouse character is overt dustiness. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Delicate citrus and grapefruit hoppy aroma. Milky like flavour, seems off. Flavour is a mix of intense hops bitterness, aroma hops and milky lacto note. Off, yet pleasant.
