4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
What an intriguing beer. And afterwards I dreamed of saison. Opens with quite a "pop", and pours off white (think witbier) with a huge head. A medley of floral and light citrus and earthy aromas with a very pleasing flavor and light, dainty mouthfeel. As it warmed, I thought of white wine. Rather dry, I’ve had other saisons that were sweeter, this is quite dry, and I do so the comparisons to Belgian triples. An excellent beer. Wish I had more. Thanks to Michael Lelevier for bringing this to Panama from New Mexico.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle from BOTW, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear deep golden with a decent white head.
Aroma: Lots of fruity esters and spicy phenolics, honey, flowers, a bit of booze, rich light malts, quite sweet and unctuous.
Palate: Medium+ body with full, creamy carbonation.
Flav.: Herbal, more phenolic than estery, though it is still somewhat fruity, rich malts, floral honey, nice; sweet with low-moderate bitterness and an estery, boozy, malty finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. Clear pale, orange-ish pour with white head, moderate retention, spotty lacing. Aroma: oranges, marshmallow, banana, laffy taffy, green apple. Taste: somewhat sweet, fruity, short crisp peppery finish. Palate: medium+ body, lively carbonation, creamy texture. Overall: pretty nice for an 8% ABV 12oz-bottled saison. A little sweeter and bubble-gummy fruitier than my favorite saisons, but nothing really objectionable about it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Golden hazy. Fruity belgian estery, spice peppery, nose. Light fruits (stone fruits, even a hint of banana), pale malty. Full flavoured, nice body, long finish. Fruits again, light spicy. Sort of harmonious. Refreshing too even with the high abv.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Belgian yeast aroma, fruit, citrus, floral. Taste is tropical indeed. Hops create a sticky texture and the fruit only enhances this. Alcoholic saison that is extremely noticeable. Syrupy from the fruit and malt or other earthy things. Quite good. Excellent flavors.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
375ml corked bottle. Tropical fruit aroma with Belgian yeast notes of clove and banana. Pours dark cloudy golden colored with two fingers of off white head with excellent retention and lacing. Starts with sweet tropical fruit flavors with subtle banana notes. Finishes smooth with clove flavor coming to the front as well as a bit of sourness. Pretty good, but hard to call it a saison.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pretty dark for a Saison. I can tell it?s a Belgian style but definitely not Belgian. I wouldn?t immediately place it as a Saison either. Very bready and a bit sweet at the beginning. Fruity middle which was unexpected. A bit of grape and medium spice. Decent beer but also unremarkable

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
"i loved everything about this beer that wasn’t the standard belgian east spciness. the look was great, with a big frothy white head on an inviting cloudy yellow body. aroma was tart, grassy, and spicy, as was the flavor. tasted like a begian wit, but more complex. served at 50 degrees, and was good, but grew more harsh and less enjoyable as it warmed further. recomended, but for nearly $8, there are better options."

Not the Saison I'm used too. A little too much orange peel............................
