Bottle. Pours golden, with a quite fierce creamy head receding to finger thickness. Aroma is yeast with a lot of sweet citrus and apricot fruitiness, as well as some hay. Full creamy body, with a lively carbonation. Flavour is sour with yeast, some funky notes of barn and lots of fruit, as well as kandi, oak and some earthy notes.

Pretty dark for a Saison. I can tell it?s a Belgian style but definitely not Belgian. I wouldn?t immediately place it as a Saison either. Very bready and a bit sweet at the beginning. Fruity middle which was unexpected. A bit of grape and medium spice. Decent beer but also unremarkable

"i loved everything about this beer that wasn’t the standard belgian east spciness. the look was great, with a big frothy white head on an inviting cloudy yellow body. aroma was tart, grassy, and spicy, as was the flavor. tasted like a begian wit, but more complex. served at 50 degrees, and was good, but grew more harsh and less enjoyable as it warmed further. recomended, but for nearly $8, there are better options."

pours hazy light golden with a reviving frothy white head, good retention and nice lacing. very yeasty, lemony, chalky, very fruity - sweetish pears, astringent woodsy notes, vinous charcter, pale rustic grains, few estery bubblegum and mint, very nice minerality. bright carbonation, light body, very light tartness and drying grassy-herbal-spicy finish. tasty and rustic. dupont-ish. very nice saison

Great saison - light yet savory, crisp and refreshing. I like the bird on the label a lot as well - that bird is so metallic I just wanna put it on my tongue and let it slowly dissolve.

@ Fille. Bottle (375 ml) from Systembolaget (56:-). Fruity with spicy and light caramely notes, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry with spicy notes.

Nice mellow saison from North Coast. Poured into a Duvel tulip and watched the carbonation center on the low point and trickle slowly but steadily up in a column. Small creamy head, on rich golden body. Aroma is musty, floral yeast, taste adds some butter, and spice. All around well executed saison,
