Carbonation is lively, especially for the style, but it works for the palate. However, it doesn’t do much for the appearance, with large bubbles lining the sides of the glass; head wasn’t great and didn’t last either. Good beer, but nothing really exciting.

"compared to the same style from sierra nevada...waaaaay better. this has been one of the better easy drinkin stouts for quite some time. dry finish, but it doesn’t sacrifice body or taste. a full, yummy roasted stout! ( try a black and black...1/2 old 38, 1/2 rasputin- on nitro if possible)"
