A decent stout. Had a distinct but subtle sourness to it, which was odd given the coffee taste.

This has a mild chocolate and coffee aroma. Faint, yet defined. The brew would need aircraft landing lights to let anyone see through it, much like its big brother, "Old Rasputin". The taste is of chocolate, coffee and malt. It’s quite good. The palate is smacked with a bit of carbonation, but the feel is lightly oily. At just over 6% ABV, this is a winner for stout lovers.

Gana vandeningas ir nelabai išraiškingas stoutas. Alkoholis tik gelbėja padėtį. Gan įdomiai išsireiškia...

Pours deep amber black with big tan head. In an age of coffee and chocolate adjuncted stouts, this is an excellent example of a delicious yet traditional stout.

This is an ok stout. This one looks better then it tastes as it’s very carbonated.

Black pour, nice foamy brown head. Aroma is roasty, dark chocolate, a little smoke. Flavor is delicious chocolate, cocoa, some roast and soy sauce. After it had warmed up a little, also had notes of ginger and blackberries. Medium body, sweet roasty finish.

Bottle - Jet black with a small head and lacing. It was definitely roasty with dark malt notes but I was disappointed with how thin it was. There are better stouts out there.

On tap. Comes dark brown with an average beige head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and coffee. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, caramel, and a hint of dark fruit. Pretty good.
