4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is a very good brew. The first thing that hits you is the coffee/raw cocoa flavor. It will remind you of Guiness, but without the burnt toast finish. It actually gives you that "Hershey Special Dark" after note. It has a very well blended alcohol heat that does not halt your swallow like a higher ABV Imperial. A brew that is easy for anyone to enjoy.

Imperial stout avvolgente e ricca di note di caffé, cioccolato che scivolano in un denso abbraccio alcolico, ma non eccessivo. Molto molto buona.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured from bottle bought at local boutique. Pours thick and dark. Not much head and it faded quickly. Smells like sweet malt and coffee. Medium mouthfeel with a significant amount of carbonation. Sweet up front changing to coffee and then leaving a bitter finish.

Look: pours dark black. Light brown fluffy head.
Smell: heavy chocolate. Roasted malts. Vanilla.
Taste: chocolate. Roasted malts. Minimal bitter coffee.
Feel: medium carbonation. Slight dryness leaves wanting another taste.
Overall: love the aroma. Wish the taste matched it more closely.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Brewdog Cardiff. Pours very dark brown, thick fluffy tan head, looks gorgeous. Aromas of roasted coffee, chocolate, dark fruits and vanilla. Taste is nice strong roasted coffee bitterness, a light-medium sweetness. The alcohol is well balanced, full body, smooth thick mouthfeel, warming finish. Excellent.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a perfect ImpRusStout. Rich burnt caramel nose, Teflon smooth mouthfeel & rich coffee/chocolate aftertaste. Like drinking milk from a Russian cow crossbred with cocoa beans that have been caught up in an unfortunate accidental nuclear bomb explosion forming positive mutation offspring...or something.

Tapp på BottleRock LA. Svart med tjock hasselnötsfärgat skum. Doftar sött av choklad och karamell. Smaken är söt med inslag av kaffebeska och karamell. Lite spritig eftersmak tyvärr.

Bottle 0,33l. Pours very dark ruby amber colour with massive creamy tan head that stays for a long time. Aroma of chocolate upfront and some dark fruit. Taste follows the aroma with some notes of vanilla coffee. Full mouth feel.
