12 oz, pours dark brown orange down the side of the glass into a dark black. Head is one inch and light brown. Smells slightly of coffee and dark chocolate. Tastes creamy smooth of chocolate malt no booziness, clean finish

Aroma: Sweet, bitter, dark chocolate with hints of licorice and alcohol Appearance: Pours rich black with enormous head that settles into a nice, tan finger of frothy luxury Taste: Medium sweetness up front giving way to a lightly bitter aftertaste Palate: Light bodied with a thin oily texture, finishing with a long bitter finale. Overall: A very good imperial stout

Solid black pour, coffee colored head. Nose is coco, burnt sugar, and a hint of booze. Bitter. Middle is coffee, alcohol, and a hint of sweet cream. Finish is bitter (grain/hops/alcohol) and long. Sipper for sure.

Outstanding brew, rich coffee character, brown sugar, lovely roasted and smoky notes, gentle bourbon bite. As close as it gets to perfection for an imperial stout.

Pitch black beer with one way flavor- heavily roasted malts, even notes of burnt malt with just light hops character left behind. Sharp but as I like bitter from anything, it is drinkable to me. Although difficult to be enjoyable.

Lots of roast, not as silky smooth as other imperials that I really enjoy. The malt is dominate with lots of roast, the hops are light as expected. Like a strong coffee, its intense, and delicious.

Pours slightly reddish, black with a magnificent head. The nose is sweet dark chocolate with a slight smoke roast. Not quite thick, creamy texture. Some sweetness but not too much-just about perfect-I don't like black coffee beer. Doesn't have the burning aftertaste of some stouts-nice smooth finish. Probably one of the very best widely available Stouts.
