Sep 28, 2009 Sampled at another monday night football tasting over at scottyp’s. Sampled blind with 6 others. All poured a clear amber red. This one was in the bottom of the pack. Artificial cherry cough syrup aroma. Flavor is also medicinal and fake. Way overrated imo.

Sep 23, 2009 Bottle, 355 ml - Brown amber beer with a small head. Aroma is malty with notes of marzipan, butter, nuts, arrak and oak. Flavor is fruity with notes of grain, nuts and dried fruits. Full bodied and very balanced. Excellent ale, but not a perfect barley wine.
