Hazy gold color with aroma of belgian hops. Decent foamy white head that diminishes to a wisp of foam on top with a bubbly ring aorund the side of the glass. Taste is very refreshing, lemony hops, a crisp finish with a bit of warming in the chest.

Amber pour. This has an earthy malt aroma complimented by some floral yeast notes. The flavor is largely earthy malt with some fruity yeast to it. Decent but not my favorite.

Pours cloudy gold with a thick white head. Aroma is strong yeast & faint boiled peanut (if you can imagine that). There are some malt aromas in the background too. Flavor is like a sweet-bread. Some pepper like flavors show up in the finish along with the malts.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 ccex (238) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 8, 2012
The first time I tried this one I was dissapointed, but only in comparison to 2 very different brews - both among my favorites- from this brewery: Old Rasputin Imperial Stout and Brother Thelonious Ale. I was also hoping that this would live up to to legend of Ken Kesey’s Merry Pranksters the way the other 2 lived up to their infamous namesakes. Thankfully I did not rate it then. I gave this a second try today and enjoyed it on its own merits. 12 oz bottle pours a cloudy golden color with a small but persistent off-white head and practically no lacing. Nose is full of yeast. Aroma has orange peel, cloves, and other spices. Mouthfeel is very lively due to active carbonation. Body is medium to full, Taste is sweet but not overly so. A very good and well-crafted American Belgian, but still not one of the very best.

From bottle. Very citrus aroma. Light orange color fairly see through. Semi bitter light taste. Very small aftertaste. Overall a very easy drinking beer.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 nj_BierMaven (22) - Flemington, New Jersey, USA - APR 13, 2012
Pours a hazy orange cloudy color out of bottle. Not as much carbonation as true Belgian brews. Good orange, coriander flavor but not as strong spices as it might display, Something lacking in the yeasty profile, slightly less of the banana-type esters of other brews. All-in-all enjoyable, but not the best example of the style.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 musinj6 (128) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 12, 2012
Pours a hazy straw/honey color with 1.5 finger head that lingers, leaving little lacing. Bready malt with medium floral hops. Tastes are medium sweetness with mild bitterness in the background. More sweet than bitter beer. Slight hint of banana. Faintly boozy. Full bodied with moderate, soft carbonation. Long finish that is mildly bitter. This is a very good beer.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 queenholly (466) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - APR 9, 2012
Bottle. Banana, citrus, spice, and yeast aroma. Yellow orange with a small white head. Sweet malt, banana , citrus, yeast, and spice flavor. Medium, lightly carbonated body. Nice.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rangi (103) - NEW ZEALAND - MAR 30, 2012
Above average beer, enjoyed the clean fruity flavours exacerbated by the 7.6% alchohol content.
