COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers’ art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries. PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

Pours a slightly hazy orange with a small white head. Very fruity spice aroma with orange and coriander. Taste is very citrusy fruity sweet at first then fades to a nice balance. Good spice in the finish. Overall a delicious belgian brew that is easily drinkable although not as complex as some of the style.

Interesting redition of a Belgian Style ale, very dark for a "golden" ale and very rich and malty. sweet honey along with a hoppy bitterness makes this very tasty and satisfying, North Coast is an amazing brewery, fantastic!

bottle. golden pour with minimal string of a head around the glass. earthy banana aroma. flavor banana and swet candy, with bitter soice notes that are overall a bit bland. finish is about the same as the initial taste, there is not much change in flavors. leaves an oily mouthfeel however that is not pleasant.

Bottle. Hazy deep gold with a quickly fading head. Nose is sour and a little floral. Has some taste of yeast, bread, black pepper, anise, grapefruit, white grape, and wheat. Finishes dry and clean. There is a slight alcohol twinge on the finish that is nice as well.

Pours turbid dark gold. Aroma of malt, intense fruit, hops, candi sugar. Tastes malty, fruity, with candi sugar at mid-palate. Finishes semi-dry and fruity, with well hidden alcohol and a nice complexity.

Poured hazy yellow orange with a thick off white head with big bubbles...smells yeasty, sweet, floral, and a hit of citrus...tasted a little spicy and yeasty at first, then sweet and a touch bitter...crisp finish with a slightly sweet aftertaste...not a waste of money, but I only bought two bottles...

(Bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy golden orange with a average-sized white head. Aroma of musty hay. Flavor of yeast, spices, and dried fruits. This one grew on me as it came to room temperature.

certainly one of the better american attempts at a belgian ale. honeyed yeasty aroma, some peach and golden syrup flavour and pleasant yeast bite in the finish if perhaps still a tad too sweet

Aroma: Faint banana esters, grain, CO2, slight C2H5OH odor, yeast spice. Apperance: Translusent Golden brass, white filmy head, some specks. Flavor: spicy yeast, CO2, dried fruit, warm alcohol. Palate: slightly chewey, warm watery finish. Not bad, certainly better belgium ales out there to put it lightly.
