Commercial Description:
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers' art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries. PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

One of my poker buddies brought this over. I was surprised how good it was compared to other Belgian Strongs I have had. It was nice and light with a smooth palate and a sweet tinge. A little spice and a little fruity.

12 oz bottle. Foggy pale brown with a diminishing white head. Nose is dough, school paste and sweet tea. Medium light, a little oily, with a tang. Taste is buttery peach, pink lemonade and yeast. Despite the off-notes this is still nicely drinkable.

12 oz bottle. Pale yellow white head fades quickly. Nice aroma, and the flavor is rich and fruity. I didnt know the style very well, but this example got me interested in trying others of this style.

330 mL into tulip glass. Pours a hazy gold with a small but long lasting white head. Good lacing. Aromas of berries, flowers, spice, salt water, and green olives. Taste is a little salty with green olives, citrus, faint yeast. Tart, dry aftertaste. Alcohol is nicely covered up. Watery on the palate. Not my favorite of the style.

pours cloudy, bubbly, yellow-orange with a small off-white head. smell - tingles the nose, yeast, a touch of citrus, grass, flowers. taste - tastes just about as it smells, lots of yeast, sour, malts, leaves the mouth on the dry side
