COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers’ art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries. PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

Smells of a great belgian ale.The usual(slight bannana, corrianderish colve, but smoother& sweeter than usual taste)Has a nice cloudy solid golden appearance.(mad yeastage on the bottom of the bottle yummy)The taste is like a light tripel.Smooth especialy for the well hidden 7.6%.I like this alot,Great interpretation IMO.I have had a few of North coast's great brews(old stock, pranqster, old rasputin...WOW.Finally a brewery that doesen't adhere to a "signature taste" Happy me...I will be trying all of these cat's brew's.(would choose this over a golden monkey!)

Without a doubt, one of the finest Belgian Style ales in the world. Less dry than most others, and distinctly more flavorful. Gives any Belgian a run for its money, and leaves many of them in the dust. Pranqster deserves a space in every Belgian lover's cooler. Heavyweight's Lunacy is its only competition....

Spicy floral nose. Hazy golden peach hue, tons of carbonation. Creamy, thick, white head. Very pleasant. Very much like a Duvel, or Corsendonk Pater. Big fruit, lots of malt, pears, apricots, spice, medium bodied, velvety smooth. Finishes dry and refreshing. A nice Belgian Style Ale from America.

Light gold color. Pretty white head thats short lived. Fruity, malty nose. Medium bodied. Spicey, fruity flavors with some breadyness. Medium sweet finish. Decent brew.

Unfiltered amber/orange appearance. Spicy, yeasty aroma. Head started strong, faded fairly quickly. Citrus fruit taste with some tartness, balanced with a nice wheat/malt finish that imparted a sour apple flavor.

(11May2003--12oz.bottle) Excell effort. Anything labeled "golden ale" is easy to screw up, and this one comes through with no major faults. Active, inviting head; straw-colored with light lace, and very persistent carbonation. Pours deep golden, medium haze. Aromas of coriander, and a refreshing floral hint, with a note of fruity esters. Very clean. Crisp on the palate, but appropriately sour, good malt presence. Finishes with peach notes. A bit limp, but the fantastic carbonation redeems this fault. Little to no overt alcohol presence, but the increasing warming that you experience confirms alcohol's presence.

Bottle. A nice hazy orange color with a foamy white head. Corriander, orange, banana, spice and citrus in the aroma. A crisp bite on the palate with a strong flavor.

NIIICE!!! Sort of a like a belgian witbier. The alcohol is so concealed you'd think you were sipping a 3.2% beer from Utah. Light and refreshing, with tons of wheat and citrus notes.

This was the 3rd or 4th from North Coast that I've tried and the first one that actually impressed me. Nice Wheaty malt flavor. Slight citrus notes but not as pronounced as others I've had in the same style. White tight head that stood well on it's own. A little on the crisp side for this style but very refreshing anyway. I'll most likely buy again

Pours the color of apricot with a medium rocky white head. Nose is peach and spice. Flavor is yeasty, fruity and spice. Aftertaste is dry, orange peel.
