Hazy browned gold with a fine white head. Aroma of yeast and florals. Fruity taste - oranges, spice and some bready malt. Belgian yeast as well. Nicely balanced sweetness. Quite active in the mouth. Very nice golden ale.

Recommended to me at my local liquor store. Very happy with this! Beautiful, clear, yellow-gold color. Pleasant aroma and a sweet flavor with no bitter whatsoever...makes for an overall enjoyable Belgian style ale. I’ll drink it again.

Bottle. Gold in color with a large quickly disappearing head. Aroma was notes of floral and a fruity whiff. Taste was sweet up front, orange and spice in the middle with a well balanced finished that leans a tad to the malty side.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, 12 oz.
I found this in my stash, can’t remember when I bought it and there is no date. I was not expecting much, I’m not a big fan of Belgian Goldens, but I mowed the lawn and needed a beer, and cracked this one.
I was very impressed with the balance, great expected flavors, crisp and refreshing despite the ABV, nice any way you look at it.

Got this on tap @ Starry Plough Oakland. Aroma was floral, citrus. Nice lively sparkling yellow gold with no head. Taste followed the smell: orange, lemon, floral and herbs. Well balanced. No heavy aftertaste, dissipated quickly. I liked it
