COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers’ art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries. PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

PranQster pours a nice, deep, hazy straw yellow with a light, frothy white head that stands at about two fingers and dissipates quickly. Lots of spicy fruit on the nose. Sweet and almost tropical on the top but supported well by the classic "Belgian spice".Banana also lying underneath the tropical fruit scent. There’s a yeasty bready smell here lingering around too. Very crisp and refreshing on the olfactory Very crisp Belgian spice taste with some remarkable earthy flavors. Sweet on the center but not as tropical as on the nose. I get some bread and yeast but only on the back of the tongue. Definitely dominated by the Belgian yeast. Crisp and carbonated as a Belgian should be. Really tasty Belgian style for a reasonable price. I’ve yet to be let down by North Coast and this is just another easy drinker Belgian that proves their worth.

Bottle - hazy orange pour with good head. Aroma of sour yeast, notes of citrus and cherry. Mild flavor, but good. A bit heavier mouthfeel than a Duvel.

Bottle (12oz $2.80): pours a cloudy golden. My bottle had a lot of sediment. Could not find date on bottle, but drank within 2weeks of purchase. Medium body and medium plus carbonation. Seems to have a little sourness too. I think I like it better than the similar New Belgian Trippel.

Tap at Ballard Beer Company, Seattle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Banana bubblegum aroma. Medium body, medium carbonation. Banana, bubblegum, light cherry, candy, - pear drops, white bread... A little to sweet for me. OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
